ASB can be extremely distressing for victims and disruptive for the community and we want to reassure you that tackling anti-social behaviour is a priority for Cambridgeshire Constabulary.

You might have seen media coverage recently about police forces failing to take problems caused by anti-social behaviour as seriously as victims do. This is not the case in Cambridgeshire, where the same inspection report praised the constabulary for achieving good results.

We will continue to relentlessly target those responsible for ASB using all the tools available. We’re carrying out patrols in known ASB hotspots and we’re also working very closely with other partner agencies (including the local authority) to identify the causes of ASB to try and prevent it happening in the future.

To those who think it is acceptable to behave in an anti-social manner our message is clear. It is not acceptable and we will find you.

So, don’t turn a blind eye to ASB in your area – if you see anyone behaving anti-socially, report it to us on 0345 456 456 4 or call 999 if a crime is being committed or if someone’s life is in danger.
